All passengers are required to have a valid Louisiana SALTWATER fishing license. If you’re out-of-state, you will need a Saltwater Charter 3-Day License ($20). If you’re a Louisiana Resident you can either possess a current saltwater fishing license or buy a saltwater charter 3-Day license. You can purchase your license locally before your trip or purchase one online.
We sure do! Check out our Facebook page for all of our current updates.
We’ll be fishing out of an Alumitech Airboat, powered by a high-performance 650HP Engine. The boat is outfitted with high-powered lights specifically designed to illuminate the water around you. There is also plenty of interior lighting to make sure you can safely maneuver around the boat throughout the night. Airboats can get loud, so I have earmuffs on board for all passengers if needed.
We use Genesis Compound Bows outfitted with AMS Retrievers. This combination allows users of all experience levels to quickly and smoothly acquire the skills of shooting and retrieving.
Our trips cater to family vacations, corporate team-building, and special events like engagements and birthdays, offering a unique nighttime fishing tour for those seeking new experiences.
Summertime in Louisiana can be very warm. Feel free to wear shorts and T-shirts. Just make sure whatever you wear, you don’t mind getting muddy, bloody, or wet! Pop-up showers are also very common in the summertime. For Wintertime, dress in layers. Bring a warm cap and even a face mask. It can get pretty chilly on the water at night, even in the Fall. Please avoid wearing Crocs; close-toed shoes are essential!
All necessary fishing equipment is supplied for your trip, including bows, arrows, coolers, ice, and hearing protection. Feel free to bring any drinks and snacks you’d like. There are two coolers on board- one for your drinks and one for fish. Please do not bring a large, loaded ice chest with drinks in the boat, as space is minimal. A personal-sized cooler is okay if needed. Bring bug spray (once we’re moving, the bugs don’t bother us too much)
Yes! For fish cleaning, you have two options. Option 1 is to bring an empty cooler to leave in your vehicle, and we can load all the fish into it for you to take home. Option 2 offers next-day fish cleaning, where your fish will be cleaned and packaged for pickup. Just let us know how you want it prepared, and there is no additional charge for fish cleaning.
No worries! We'll help you figure it out! For right-handed shooters, they will hold the bow with their left hand and draw back with their right. Left-handed shooters will hold the bow with their right hand and draw back with their left. I can adjust the draw weights of each bow based on the shooters, whether they are men, women, or children. No prior experience is needed—everyone can learn to enjoy this sport! I will instruct everyone on how to operate the equipment and use it before the trip begins.
Cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable. If the captain must cancel due to weather-related issues, customers can choose another date within one year to apply their deposit. If conditions are not favorable for successful fishing and the customer still wishes to proceed, the trip will be charged at full price. The captain reserves the right to end the trip at any point to ensure the best experience possible for everyone involved!
Parties bigger than 6 people will have to be split between multiple boats. I have other captains that I can make arrangements with if their schedule allows. Please call or message about large parties in advance for availability.
I have one hell of a passion for the sport of fishing. If there’s a way to do it, I’ve done it! I’ve had the boat floor flooded with speckled trout on a hot bite out of Venice, and burned out my shoulder, reeling in a yellowfin Tuna out of the Gulf of Mexico. I’ve chased walleye in the lakes of Minnesota and pulled out monster Northerns through the ice! I’ve caught my personal best bass in Texas and landed some of the biggest blue cats you’ve ever seen from the Mississippi River. When I say I live and breathe fishing, I mean it.
But bowfishing, that’s where I call home. You get to experience the way the swamp comes to life at night. I put together my first bowfishing boat when I was 14 years old. I have fallen in love with the sport ever since. Well, maybe it's more like an addiction. Bowfishing to me, is a combination of hunting and fishing. You have to track these fish, pattern them, and look at all the factors that dictate how these fish move. What they’re feeding on, and how the waters are moving. But when it all comes together, there’s no better reward than when your customers get to start slinging arrows.
That’s why I do this. The excitement that a child has when he sees the first fish swimming next to the boat, or that moment when your arrow starts swimming away because you nailed a long distant shot. These moments are unforgettable. To this day, I still get excited and start cheering in the back, when a customer shoots a fish. It’s a dedication that never grows old. The devotion I have to this life is unparalleled.
New Orleans is primarily a tourism destination that attracts visitors from around the globe. In contrast, Venice, Louisiana, is widely recognized among fishermen as the “Fishing Capital of the World,” making it one of the most popular fishing locations in the state. My main fishing area is Port Sulphur, just north of Venice, but I reside in Belle Chasse. Clients will meet me in Belle Chasse and then follow me in their vehicles to the launch site, ensuring everyone is ready for an exciting night on the water.
